Kristen Curtze is a senior web developer who loves to wear many hats to solve problems. She was raised around technology, sports, and four brothers that indirectly helped her to ignore the gender stereotypes in the world. Kristen followed her computing interests to a degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New Media – Interactive Development and a Masters in Communication and Media Technologies. She wanted to find a way to show women how rewarding development can be so she decided to bring a GDI chapter to Rochester alongside her co-leader and college best friend, Liz Gombert. Together they plan to help bridge the gaps in the industry and empower others to build great solutions.
